MurphMaster ("we", "our", "the app") is developed by Upper East Enterprises. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the MurphMaster iOS application.
Workout Data. MurphMaster stores your workout history (times, reps, dates, and configuration) locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not transmitted to our servers.
Apple Health Data. If you enable Apple Health integration, MurphMaster writes workout data (activity type, duration, and estimated calories) to Apple HealthKit. We do not read or collect health data from HealthKit. Health data stays on your device and is governed by Apple's privacy policies.
Analytics. We use Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics such as button taps, feature usage, and navigation patterns. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve the experience. Mixpanel may collect device type, OS version, and anonymized interaction data. No personally identifiable information is sent to Mixpanel.
Crash Reporting. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic data. This includes device model, OS version, and stack traces when the app crashes. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs.
Advertising Attribution. We use the Facebook SDK for advertising attribution purposes. If you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, the SDK may collect an advertising identifier to measure the effectiveness of ads. You can opt out of tracking when prompted or in your device's Settings.
Strava. If you choose to connect your Strava account, MurphMaster sends workout data (activity name, duration, date, and description) to Strava via their API using OAuth authentication. Your Strava access tokens are stored locally on your device. We do not store your Strava credentials on any server.
The app integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
All workout data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, your local data is deleted. Analytics and crash data retained by third-party services are subject to their respective retention policies.
MurphMaster is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
